Wobei ich es als Gutmensch ja viel cooler gefunden hätte, nebenher heimlich für die Rebellen zu arbeiten.
Hat teilweise schon sehr an meiner Überzeugung genagt, die dauernd ans Messer zu liefern.

Naja, da konnte man ja ne Runde X-Wing zwischenreinschieben um sich wieder aufzubauen...ein paar explodierte Sternenzerstörer heben die eigene Meinung über sich selbst dann schon wieder *ggg*

So, hab jetzt die DOSbox installiert, aber bin schon gescheitert...

Irgendwie muss da erst Verzeichnisse als virtuelle Festplatte oder so einrichten, aber das hat nicht geklappt. Man sollte folgendes eingeben: "mount c c:\dos" aber da kriegte ich nur die meldung "verzeichnis existiert nicht". Ich glaube, ich hab dann mal statt dos dosbox eigegeben und siehe da, ich kann jetzt von Z: auf C: wechseln. ABER ich kann von dort auf nicht in irgendein Verzeichnis wechseln!

OK, bin einen Schritt weiter gekommen. Habei mein Laufwerk erfolgreich eingebunden und kann mir mit dri auch den Inhalt der CD anzeigen lassen. Aber wenn ich das Spiel installieren will, kommt folgende Nachricht:

EMS driver is not VCPI compliant

Was tu ich jetzt?

Spiel Wing Commander - Prophecy...das läuft auch unter Win XP :-D

Mich macht Wing Commander 3 noch wahnsinnig. Ihc habe vor kurzem angefangen wieder meiner alten Leidenschaft nachzugehen. 1 und 2 konnte ich samt special Missionen sher gut spillen, bei drei ging es dann los mit den Problemem. Ihc habe sogar ein patch gefunden womit man das ganz einfach unter XP spielen konnte, nur leider stürtzt das häufig bei den videos ab und nimmt den ganzen rehcner mit...
daher habe ich da nun ewig lang bei der DOSvbox gefummelt. Die stürtzt nicht bei den videos ab, dafür aber bei bestimmten Situationen im Spiel. zudem will der Joystick nciht funktionieren...
aktuell stürtzt der mir jedes mal ab wenn die olle Prinzenkatze seine Warnung an die Victory schickt. aber immerhin läuft es sonst.

das solltest du dir runter laden damit kann man dann leichter in der config von der dosbox rumfummeln.

irgendwo findest du dann das.
Bei der grundeinstellung ist ems=true und das mag Wing Commander 3 nciht,.
einfach auf false stellen dann geht es.
mit dem Prog das du dir runterlädst einfach edit dosvox udn dann siehst du die einstellungen, hier meine für WIng Commander 3
läuft leider nur nciht so schön wie ich es mir wünschen würde.

Kann ich die Datei mit einem Editor in XP ändern? Die Spracheinstellung hab ich ja auch auf diese Weise geändert.

So, hab jetzt WC3 installieren können, aber leider ruckeln sowohl Bild als auch Ton sowas von extrem, dass es einfach unspielbar ist!! Woran liegt denn das jetzt schon wieder?

wie gesagt ich habe auhc fehler.

es ist alles noch nciht so super mit der Dos Box.

Ichhhabe shcon überlegt einen virtual pc zu instalieren udn dann darauf dos zu installieren, nru weiß ich nciht ob ich das hinbekomme.

mehr als rumprobieren kann man da nciht.
guck mal bei den Soundeinstellungen und bei der cpu. da wirst du wohl am ehesten fündig...

Bei der Einstellung der Soundkarte ließ sich nix ändern, aber scheinbar hält das Spiel meinen Computer für einen 486er :-nix Aber das spiel testet die Geschwindigkeit doch automatisch, kann ich da denn irgendwas verändern?

Plan B ist es jedenfalls, mir einen ganz alten Computer zu besorgen *ggg*
Ich weiß schon, wo ich fündig werden könnte, fürchte aber, der ist dann wiederum ZU alt...
