Just having been asked by an American doctor about Gilberts Syndrome I thought it might be nice to have a list of morbuses with different names in German and Anglo-American literature.

These paediatric diseases are no syndromes, but do also have different names in German and English:

Windpocken - chicken pox
Röteln - German measles ("Deutsche Masern" ;-) )

Aortenisthmusstenose - coarctation of the aorta

scrub typhus
