Hello,
I need your help again. I am reading a paper about ataxia telangiectasia at the moment and one of the symptoms is a neuropathy that manifests with the "loss of ankle-deep tendon reflexes".
I looked it up (leo.org) and they translated it as "knöcheltief" or "über die Knöchel". My question is: is there a loss of reflexes distal or proximal from the ankles? Distal would make more sense, but who knows?

Excuse my bad English, I mix up everything with French at the moment. :-))

Thank you!!

Yours,
Ally

"Ankle-deep tendon reflex" refers to the "Achillessehnenreflex"

I think "ankle-deep" means "auf Knöchelhöhe" which confirms what Tom already wrote.
