Hello,
to improve my English, I chose to try to send this in this complicated language.
I wanted to ask you, how you manage it, to get videos from youtube on your ipod. Second question: if you find an interessting podcast on an homepage (like ARD...) how can I make this film understand to jump on my ipod? It didn't work until now!

Thank you for your intelligent advice

Youtube has (as far as I know) protection against downloading or any kind of using the films there. For podcasts I use Itunes, just download ur desired podcast there and put it on ur Ipod...

How do you exactly do this?
You go to an HP, let's say ZDF, you see a podcast...what do you do? You load it down to your desktop, than copy it in itunes? Or do you click right mouse "Taste", to copy, go to itunes and paste it?

One problem is solved: I have now a beamer in my class room, and I can match my stereo-"machine" to the computer, so they can see any youtube clip directly on the wall, with loud sound.
I know, how this works in theory, but until now I did not have the courage, to try it in front of a class...
thank you for your help, Kedar

It should be the same as on the iPhone: because only Quicktime (mp4) is implemented, you have to convert other formats to mp4 (using tools like "Super", http://www.chip.de/downloads/SUPER-2008-Build-24_17370353.html) and import them into iTunes. mp4 files from google video should work too.

e.g. http://video.google.de/videoplay?docid=-4762249443353946613&q=dunham+site%3Avideo.google.com&total=59&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=3
(choose download for video ipod)

In order to download videos from YouTube you can use special websites (e.g. http://www.videodl.org/ )
Unfortunately, YouTube videos come in the .flv -format which has to be converted into .mp4, .m4v or .mov if you want to view them on your iPod.
flok already recommended a converter which should be able to do the job..

There's another nice tool I just came about: iPodME http://nodadev.wordpress.com/pc-projects/ipodme/

First impression: it is doing the job faster than Super :-top

ps. Everybody will love this beamer:

thank you, that looks as easy, as I could find out, how it works...

I hope, that in time of exam-lessons, I will be able to have nice powerpoint presentations with integrated clips (video and music)

That would be nice:
one clic: the title appears, other click, a part of the text, next click: music, clic, musikvideo...that MUST impress the jury of all exam!!
