stechender kopfschmerz orgasmus

hallo,

meine freundin bekommt seit kurzem einen starken stechenden kopfschmerz beim erreichen des höhepunkts. es ist wohl mit den schmerzen einen "brain freeze" zu vergleichen, bloß länger andauernd. gibt es sinnvolle therapien oder prävention? vllt profelaktisch schon acetylsalicylsäure einnehmen?

erfahrungen bzw. tipps?

Exertional Migraine

This is an under-recognized but quite frequent variant of migraine of some importance which is invariably misdiagnosed as subarachnoid haemorrhage. It may occur during any exertion, but is most frequently reported during sexual intercourse and is now recognized as 'intercourse migraine' or 'benign coital cephalgia'. The increasing enthusiasm for strenuous workouts in gymnasia, particularly weight training, is producing another clearly identifiable group of similarly affected patients.
The headache is of explosive onset at climax during intercourse or at the height of exertion in other situations, and it is described as a sensation as if the patient had been hit over the back of the head with a brick. It may be pulsatile but subsides quite rapidly over 10-15 minutes. […] It is intriguing that this seems to be a self-limiting condition and patients may have a series of attacks over a few months without subsequent recurrence. […] The condition is sufficiently characteristic for confident reassurance to be given that this had not been due to a 'small bleed', if the headache had cleared completely within 1-2 hours and was not followed by a stiff neck, nausea, vomiting or low back pain the next day. If the patient is seen in the middle of a series of attacks occuring close together, the use of propranolol 20 mg 1 hour before the intended exertion is extremely effective at preventing the onset of the headache.


Ergo:
- Es klingt eher (!) nach einem harmlosen Zustand ABER
- Es gibt eine ernsthafte Erkrankung, i. e. Subarachnoidalblutung, die DD ausgeschlossen werden muss (insbes. vor der Anwendung von ASS ;-) )
- Eine definitve DD per Internet ist nicht möglich
- Fragen Sie ohne übergroße Panik den HA Ihres Vertrauens :-)

In Münster gibt es einen Neurologen, der bekannt ist für Studien zum Thema Sex-Kopfschmerz :-) Stand auch mal nen Bericht in der Brigitte. Hab leider nur den Namen des Arztes vergessen.....
