Hi!
Ich habe gerade folgendes Problem:
Ich würde gerne Anfang nächstes Jahr ein elective an der SUNY Downstate in New York machen. Soweit so gut, habe alle Informationen zur Bewerbung von http://sls.downstate.edu/registrar/visiting/international/index.html und sammle gerade alle Dinge zusammen die ich so dafür brauche, aber diesen Abschnitt verstehe ich nicht ganz:
In addition to the above, the Visiting International Medical student must also complete an application for a "Letter of Eligibility" from the New York State Board of Medicine. This process should be initiated at least three months prior to the date you wish to take the elective. Approval to begin the elective at SUNY Downstate is contingent upon our receipt of an approved Letter of Eligibility from the New York State Board of Medicine. If your documents are in order, you are granted permission to take a maximum of 12 weeks (84 days) of electives in the State of New York. You must mail NYS letter of eligibility at the same time as you mail your Visiting Student Applicant.
So wie ich den letzten Satz verstehe meinen die, ich soll gleich mit der Application den "Letter of Eligibility" für New York mitschicken. Aber den kann man doch eigentlich erst beantragen wenn man ein bestätigtes elective hat oder?(muss man ja schliesslich auch auf dem Antrag angeben!?)
Hat jemand sich vielleicht schonmal dort beworben und weiß wie das abläuft?
