I still have a question, how do you get the Approbation, are there any exams to take or is it just a degree equivalance?

if you are an EU citizen then you can get the approbation. there is an exam that you need to give though. you'll have to check with the landesaerztekammer where you plan to apply for approbation. i think its a viva exam, but so far nobody has been able to tell me what books to read. so its not like for example plab or usmle.
