Prose literature related to medical topics

Hi! I'm looking for nice literature in english which deals with medical topics. At the moment I'm reading "House of God" and its quite good to learn medical vocabulary. Do you know further literature?
I would be glad if you share your experiences.

Great book. I really enjoyed reading it.

both have doctors as their main characters, but aren't centered on medicine...
