Hello everybody,

I'm a GP ( general practitioner ). I got my diploma from outside Europe.
I started learning german and want to carry on medical specialty studies in Germany ( dermatology is my favorite ).
Is it an overdemanded specialty and how much it will be difficult to get accepted ?
I have a lot of questions to ask and will be thankfull for any one who could explain me with more details what should I do to start dermatoloy studies in your country.

Thank you very much for your time and sympathy

Hello,

The first thing to do is acquire German skills on level B2 CEFR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_European_Framework_of_Reference_for_Languag es) or higher. That is a prerequisite for the temporary licence ("Berufserlaubnis") to work as a physician from a non-EU country.

I've already enrolled in german courses ( have learned some basics on school but it was 5 years ago :) )
Hope I could progress very quickly.
How about dermatology studies in Germany ? Is it easy to get accepted ? How to apply for ?

Thank you again and "Danke schön"
